Lychett Minster and Springfields, Wareham.

Well what a weekend. We had to cover two Weddings this Saturday. Not something we usually do but a friend in need and all that!

We put the full team on for a Lovely Wedding at Lychett Minster church followed by Springfields Hotel, Wareham. (Yes we were there last week as well). Forecast of showers resulted in strong and challenging direct sunshine without a cloud in the sky. A great day, lovely guests, excellent Groom and a beautiful Bride. Our thanks to Laura and Chris for booking us for their special day and all our best for your future together.

More to follow when they have returned from their honeymoon.

Our other Wedding was at St Mary Magdalene in New Milton. Followed by the reception at The South Lawn Hotel, Milford on sea.

All our best to Sharon and Chris for their future together. I'll also publish more on their Wedding once they have returned and seen the photos for themselves.

Lady St Mary and Springfields, Wareham

It's been a busy week and I never got round to putting up last weeks wedding, Sorry. Must try harder.

Well we started at Lady St Mary, Wareham. A beautiful church, lot's of room and photographer friendly.

Then went on to Springfields Hotel on the other side of Wareham. A very friendly Hotel with lovely grounds. Including an ornamental pond and wooden Bridge.

Very emotional speech's followed by a lively evening. As usual I will add more detail once the couple, Ashley and Andrew have seen their Photos.

We were made very welcome by all and had a very enjoyable day. Our best for the future to Ashley and Andrew.

Excellent Twitter Quote

"The real power of photography isn't in the tech, its the moment
captured, story told, feeling shared and the emotion stirred."
From SDNPhotography.
It sums up, really well, our feelings about Wedding Photography.

Sharon and Simon

I delivered the DVD to Sharon and Simon yesterday and so now will add a bit more detail about their Wedding.

A beautiful day. Started by dropping Catherine off at the house for the prep. shots. I went onto St Peters at Ashley Cross. A very grand church for a small village, almost cathedral like. Gives me some time to get some detail shots. I had already been to the rehearsal and done the Recce, so new it quite well.

The boys were only a little late arriving at the Bricklayers Arms and were relatively calm.

Everything went to schedule after that. A lovely ceremony followed by some Bride and Groom shots at Evening hill and then onto the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks. A lovely sunny day, the beach, the sea, couldn't be better. We did the group shots on the beach. A bit windy, but added to the fun.

A relaxed Wedding ceremony followed admirably led by Ray Weedon the MC.

We managed to provide some Sunset shots from Sharon and Simon's balcony before the Evening reception started.

We left with the party in full swing at about 10.00pm.

Thanks to Sharon and Simon and all their guests for a very enjoyable day. Happiness and Prosperity to you both in your married life together.
