St Georges and the Quay Hotel

As usual I dropped the Second Photographer off at the Brides Parents House but unusually I had been invited to have Breakfast with the Groom's entourage in The Quay Hotel. This made a very nice change and was a valuable inclusion in the proceedings as I got to know the guests before pointing cameras at them !

We went for a stroll along the quay and got aboard a very nice cruiser for the photos. We then left for St Georges, Oakdale. A lovely bright, well lit church and very Photographer friendly. After the Ceremony we did the group shots on the lawn and then headed back to the Quay hotel.

At the Quay we were invited to the Wedding Breakfasts as guests which was very pleasant and most appreciated. A very nice meal was provided by the Hotel.

After the Wedding Breakfast we took the Bride and Groom to Sandbanks for some relaxed and informal 'modelling'.

After Cutting the Cake and the First Dance we left party to enjoy themselves at about 10.20pm.

An excellent day, Beautiful weather, excellent guest and Poole at its best. Our best wishes to Karen, Martin and Emily in there lives together.

Mortons House Hotel

A Purbeck wedding for us this weekend. I dropped the Second Photographer and assistant at the Brides mothers house in Swanage and made my way to meet the Groom at the Purbeck House Hotel. We did a number of posed and informal shots of the Groom and Bestman and then a couple of the Grooms family before I left for the Mortons House Hotel for the Ceremony.

A very enjoyable day and all our best to Zoe and Reece for their life together.
After the Ceremony we managed to get some reportage and the Group shots in before the rain came down. We cancelled the trip to the Castle and made for the reception at The Square and Compass in Worth Matravers.

After the Wedding Breakfast and before we lost the light we managed to get a trip in to St Aldhelms Head for the Photos. Thanks to Rob the farmer for permission to use his track.

Highcliffe Castle, Dorset

Nice and local this time and a beautiful venue. Unfortunately I could not sort out the weather which managed to rain all day.
Fortunately the British spirit prevailed and a really superb level of support was provided by the guests and the venues. I don't think we really noticed the weather in the end.

After the ceremony and a couple of quick group shots outside we travelled just down the road to The Lord Bute for the Wedding Breakfast.

The Wedding Breakfast was followed by a live band 'The Lemongrove' and some superbly entertaining dancing by the guests.

Our best wishes for their future together go to Kerrie and Steve.

Forde Abbey

Yet more travelling but a little closer to home. A different format though for this one. My second photographer took the booking in her own name but asked if I could assist. Role reversal and made a nice change.

I travelled to Forde Abbey and met the Groom. Forde Abbey is a beautiful venue and I arrived a litle early so that I could have a look around.

Lots of Photo opportunities but not much time as the Wedding Breakfast was a nearby farm and the Bride and Groom were travelling by horse and cart and then a Tractor.

A lovely day and wonderful people. My best wishes for the future to Lucy and Tom.
